  The best pawn shop in the Fort Smith area. I have been shoping there since I was a kid (my parents took me to buy games etc snes and n64) but now I'm almost 30 and I still do a lot of business there. There 3 month layaway is the best way to go for some of there guns, and I have bought a lot of guns there over the years and plan on doing so in the future. They have top notch customer service and there people know what there talking about especially the gun side since that is mainly where I go I have the most experience there.

  What could have been an excellent experience turned into dissapointment for me. The gunsmith (can't remember his name-chews toothpicks, loves 1911 pistols) quoted me a deal on a pistol. The next week I returned with the quoted down payment, and was told the required down payment was 25%, which ended up being $30 or so dollars higher than quoted. The same guy! He remembered me because he greeted me with "Come to pick it up today?" They have lost quite a bit of business from me, as I was looking for a gun shop to purchase my concealed carry pistols, as well as a hunting rifle for my wife. I spent 2 hours of my time trying to work a deal, but got nowhere. I ended up buying a cheap old shotgun just to have not wasted my entire day, but I will never return. Honesty in a "mom and pop" is what I was looking for, and I found dishonesty. The search continues for a reliable, truthful gunshop that won't try to gouge me into buying a more expensive item than I need or want. Far too opinionated for a salesperson imo, he was constantly talking down about my choices of defensive handguns (Glocks-which happen to be ALOT cheaper than the $900 pistols he was pushing on me). I will not return to Cooper's Gun Shop, nor will I recommend it to my friends in armed security and law enforcement. Not recommended. p.s. I was looking for a personal email address for the owner, but am unable to find one. May call him today.
